01Overview
iLove.e was the project that opened doors to great opportunities — and taught us to defend the beauty of software as art, not mere instruments. A project held dear, both for the professionals involved and the results achieved.
02The challenge
The goal was to migrate a fully legacy system — spaghetti PHP, SQL queries mixed into jQuery JavaScript logic and inline-CSS HTML — to a modern stack, plus a backoffice with far more features: "Showcases" tied to editorial stories about brands, "Moodboards" for sharing inspiration and "Looks" with the main fashion trends.
03The solution
The solution was a from-scratch rebuild on the Phalcon PHP framework with a Solr database abstraction, delivering performance for over 2,000,000 partner-product search results.
